most people will get 100.
yeah the requirement is crap... if your computer cant even play your CS then your computer is shit...
haha I hate to say it, but my computer is not crap! :P
ur comp isn't bad. but most ppl do get at least 30-50 fps. my old hp (11mb onboard graphx mem) got 50 something fps
110-120 is my standard FPS

isnt there something you type into the console to check fps? or is fraps what i have to type in? or is fraps the program that records me when im playing...hmmm...
fraps records you
Just type net_graph 3 in the console...it'll display your current FPS ;)
mine varies all the way down from 30 to 100 while playing...is that good?....this is on mohaa.
and whats better lower or higher fps??....and are there any tips to make the fps better?

I'm am so far way from 100 :(
if u do "developer 1" it allows u to go up to like 500 fps if ur comp can handle...just make sure u change your fps caps in the cs config
Hey I got a quick question, in your CS console how do you end stuff? like if you type in net_graph 3, or net_graph 2,, etc, how do you take them off? what is the code? I tried /net_graph 3, but doesnt work like html lol
try typing graph 0
and about those fps...is lower or higher fps better?
higher! B)
so...are there any tips u can give to make fps higher??...
lower screen resolution, lower details etc.
LMAO :lol:Quote:

ya if you wanna lie about it at least make sure it's doable
so many ppl lie to show off but dont know/have the real stuff
i am at 71 fps on my 2200xp @266Mhz ati 9800xt
edit: btw resolution doesn't affect fps i dont care if you run cs at 640x480 or 1200x1600 fsp is the same
type cl_showfps 1
Is you have a crappy video card try tweaking CS in order to get more fps
How?
-Download HighFps Models (It will make players to look really bad but u will get more FPS)
-Choose the right resolution
-Update ur drivers
- Tweak Config.cfg file and disable some textures commands
That's pretty much all u cand do
i got about 25 fps with a 18Mb sis integrated card :( and with 500Mhz, 256 Ram
And If u have a good video Card and u are not gettin 100 fps
It might be cause u haven't TURN OFF VSYNC in Open Gl settings
yes it does!Quote:

no it doesn't <_<
Yes it does. <_<
no it doesn't
YES IT DOES! A buddy of mine had one of the shittiest computers I've ever seen. On 1.5 he had to play at 512xXXX(don't remember the exact resolution, it was low). He had a shitty card and if he even went to 800x600, it was 1 frame every 10 seconds  . Now say that you have a 32mb video card and up, you can't tell the difference, but it does affect it.
Ya thats about right...Quote:

Want mor fps? Tryed software render lately?
Nevermind about the highfps models they're gonna give me nightmares.Quote:

It's not that badQuote:

Ahhhh... n00bs!! <_<
I get around 150 on average... anywhere from that to 300.
No reason in getting that much though... I just set my monitor refresh rate to 75 and my CS fps_max to 75 so there won't be any tearing...too bad I haven't played in like a month  developer 1 breaks the 100fps barrier. Just make sure you have the right rates in (cl_cmdrate=your average fps, rate=depends on connection... max is 25000... etc.)
