Eye Test

i went to my opticians and i was hoping if you lot could help me

on my prescription sheet it sed -3.50 (sph) for both my eyes

what does this mean ??

I think it's the focal power of your eyes... but I'm not sure. :unsure:

but does it mean my eye site is real bad or decent ?

If you can't read this it probably means you're as blind as a bat. :lol:

i just highlight that to see it and im alrite :P

if i took off my glasses though i wouldnt see a thing ;)

Scratch that last one, think it actually means the focal power of the lenses u need to correct your vision. Not really sure what a higher or lower number represents to be honest.

My lenses have got -2.00 on them and I'm just a bit shortsighted. I wouldn't worry bout it if I were u! :D

I thought you had only one glass Gemby. :)

I don't think you're too bad gemby... mine are -6.50 for nearsightedness plus astigmatism correction (but I'm not sure of the prescription for that).
