I don't have a favorite since I haven't been able to play with a good portion of them. But how does one forget C++/C !?!?

anyways i think php,though i'm not yet an experta cuz it's far more difficult for me,speccialy for the lenguage that is used in php :(
you missed out c/c++ which is proabably the most widely used language ;)
still my favourite would have to be c++ mainly because im learning it right now.

This poll isn't really fair - can you write a peice of forum software in HTML? Can you design a website in actionscript? The languages all have their place, but they aren't equivalent.

Anyway, I like php but I dont think asp gets the recognition it deserves. Its a step down from php but is actually pretty good for developing active server pages.
i would frankly use ASP,but most of the hostings i have acces to have php.
Besides it's better linux hosting ;)
