"print screen" may not work with movies, i'm not sure. Have a go anyway to see.
If it doesnt work you can download some software that was mentioned in this forum recently (cant remember the name :o )
Yeah "prt scr" should work. I dont know if it will work if you take a shot in fullscreen though :huh:
It wont work right? ...I'm useing PowerDVD and Photoshop, tried it in full and half screen, when I take the shot all I get is black? :unsure:

And a common way to get around that problem is to open a tiny window somewhere and to a print screen with that window active.

I have used Snagit before but not for videos. It does say that it captures video screenshots as well though. The trial is fully functional so that should hold you over for 30 days B)
Either your video is DRM'd up the ass or your video is using overlay, Print Screen tends to ignore that. :)

If you're using powerdvd mate ,it has a capture feature ,almost all players do.
It'll be one of the buttons on the controller.Also go in to the options to choose where to save the pic

PowerDVD has built-in screen capture. I don't know what version you have, but in 3.0, if you go into Configuration and click on the Capture tab and select 'Capture to File', and set the directory where files will be stored. Then while you video is playing (or paused), either click on the camera icon or press 'C' on your keyboard to capture. Mine only captures as a .bmp, but newer versions might support other formats.
you cant capture video with print screen when you have hardware accelration turned on ;)
either turn it off or use the built in snapshot tools.
mine does 2 but if u want 2 change the format jus open it in paint and click on File>Save As and then u can change the formatQuote:

I use ACDSee as my default image viewer, and it has a built in converter. :)
