i know from the title you are all thinking this thread is about the latest busted album, alas it is not. As i stated in earlier threads i had to buy 2 friends birthday presents, in the end i decided cd's would be the best bet. so i got home with the cd's and some other shite and decided it would be a good idea to rip the cd's to mp3 for my own collection. Firstly is this ethical? is it wrong morally? is it wrong legally? or is it cool cos i bought the cd's? let me know what you think.

In the UK it is illegal, you are not even allowed to make a copy for yourself. There is no reasonable use "clause"

If I thought it was morally wrong I would not do it, however I do.

thats actually what one of my mates said. i couldn't do that possibly could i? anyway i have ripped and encoded both albums so time for a listen.
