This Has Probly Been posted time and time again but ive downloaded 5 versions of xp off the network and none of them have worked properly. has any1 found a mint condition version of xp thats as good as off the shelves?
if so how can i get it. could some 1 post a couple of hases for xp that they have working 100%?

Don't get Xp from Kazaa.
The only way to get it illegaly is to probally with Warez but I advised not to go there.
that is total BS :angry: :angry: i have gotten xp off of Kazaa and it has been flaw less here is the hash. It is corprate so it dosen't need to be registered and it has sp1.Quote:

a .nfo will have the key number in it you download it and tell it to open with note pad. It is similar to a .txt file. you do need that file. I'll download it and hash it for you. Also you will need winiso to extrzct this program.
here it is and btw that copy of windows will take a while to download it is hard to find.

I got one that was like 500mb, says usb.sys is currupt when I installed, but it works fine..maybe I'll get that one so i could use cd to troubleshoot problems. I think usb.sys is part of the registration crap, when that file is currupt, xp is allready unlocked. It was for me. I did change my key to download sp1.
Yea, I downloaded XP from Kazaa a couple months ago and I got it working without any errors. I lost that file when I had to reformat, though, and I had to d/l it again. I tried about 4 or 5 times to get one that wasn't frickin corrupted! :angry: I just got tired of it......If you have a friend who has a real WinXP disc you can use his disk for the files that are missing when you install your Corporate version. I tried it with a XP Home disc while I was installing XP Pro Corp, and it still worked....Good luck! :)
Oh snap! ty! My dad got XP Home disk *only installs on intel eMachine :angry: * but I can probably copy usb.sys and stuff off it.. I may need it..
I've read that systems where windows is oem you can't copy that file. I may be wrong, but if you need a working copy dl the one i posted above.Quote:

I have been using this one for over 6 months......just get a key generator/changer and your set to go. Have dl SP1 with this installed. No probs as of yet.

I also have the versin kokanee does. It works great. Takes 3 min to change the key and you're ready to go to the windows update page. Been using it for quite a while. Flawless

So if u get XP pro corporate u dont have to activate and u just put inkey. Can u still do windows update or what?
Yes you can, if you dont use of the 2-3 keys MS has marked as leaked.
These are the common ones that floated around when xp was first pirated.
However, download that little thingy i posted up there... and it has serialz in it. I had to use it, as I had one of the "common" keys, that was marked, so I had to change mine, before sp1, so I update to it
Yes I've downloaded many XP Pro Corp and there verified too. But they still dont work. They bring up command propmt then disappear and dont seem to work. Maybe there not downloading correctly but I've cant find any legit xp pro corps. :angry:
Just a question what the dif between xp home and Pro ?? also do i need to look for a .cue file i so would you be so kind as to hash that as well?

I just started working with XP Pro and I'd be interested in the opinions of the users of this board whether it is a good idea to install the service pack (1 or 1a or whatever) as well. Heard some stories about problems with the Service Pack in connection with Kazaa, too... :unsure:

it all depends on your key number, with the right key number you will be ok, the wrong one and you are screwed. As i posted earlier i just downloaded windows xp withthe service pack already included, it works and i feel im better off.Quote:

I downloaded off kazza window XP Pro english.iso.exe 500mgs and it works like a charm but the only problem I had was when i was installing it it was missing 2 fdll files it didnt matter it still runs alright :)

I don't know, but if it was something is wrong with your copy. It works great on my 2 computers and 2 friends. It is the only copy I will verify and trust to anyone eles. Any thing eles i say use at your own risk.

you can use winiso to extract it and burn it
Out of all the XP Pro Corp only 1 seems to work. It is the 2600 version one that it is 149mb. All of the 504mb dont work always an error when extracting. So just go to http://www.verifiedownloads.com They have a bunch a verifieds ones if u go with the 2600 build ones u should be fine.

These have been posted above, but here are all three together. It does not need activated as it is Corporate Edition. It also has sp1 integrated. The CD is bootable, so you can clean install with it.
These work perfectly - this computer is running XP, installed from this image. The .nfo file contains the key.
For Big Important Rare files where corruption may be a major issue i sugest you to use emule or edonkey .... becauze you can share partial download there alwais plenty of soruces, even for rare file + there a automatic coruption fixer that redownload corrupted part ... only backend of this is that you end up downloading between 5-10kps ... 30-50 for a minute or two when a t1 guy enter the network
if you have adsl becauz of the generally poor upload speed you somethime end up with upload speed twice as big as your dl speed ... just let it go evrything in emuloe is calculated so that will boost your ul/dl ratio and let you cut in line
