Does it crash when you use another player?
yes, but not always
You can find out what the problem is if you, next time it crashes and you are using another player
Ctr+Alt+Del go to processes and the one that is using all of it is where the problem is
What OS are you using
Specs? Bet you need more RAM at least.
You could give more detail on your specs. If it's the kazaa player (also WMP) causing the problems, try a third party one.
Real Player is nice...
That's great man, but are do you have any suggestions. :PQuote:

I have the same problem, but not with Win98. It did this in XP & DOES this in Win98SE. If you copy the datview into your shared folder this will preview the mp3's. The reason for copying datview to your shared folder is that it automatically reads the folder it is in, hence it is quicker.
This is probably the correct answer, how much RAM do you have?Quote:

MP3 files played great untill i tryed to type a message to someone or edit a Tag info on a file... BANG! Crash!
Other players like Winamp played okay on the background. But i never could pre-listen a mp3 file anymore!
I use the SLD codec pack now and it runs and playes without any problem!
Maybe it helpes!
Update Kazaa
