I just downlloaded a .tar file which is 2.3 gigz big, i extracted it with winRAR , and CD1 CD2 CD3 CdCrack and Nfo folder . Do i just go to nero , select the image recorder and burn the file a data disc or an image disc.
and ps when i clicked the folder and saw the files in it , it didnt get any extensions such as .bin .cue . iso , just ims-dtra.001 ims-dtra.002 , dtra.003 etc....
the game is dead to rights.

Open ims-dtra.001 with WinRAR and extract whats inside.

I went into the CD1 Folder can extracted only one of the ims-dtra.001 and i got a .bin and .cue file , is it ok to just extract only one of the ims.dtra folder or do i have i have to extract every single one of them ?
ps after i extracted the ims.dtra.001 , the bin file was 734,000 and the cu was only 1Kb

Now burn the .bin file with Nero or whatever burning program you use.
Also, I'm throwning the other thread away.
-
Alright and btw should i burn the .bin and .cue together on the same cd ?
-
i'm not going to anwser again

Go to Nero and go to Open... Choose the .cue file. This file tells Nero how to burn the matching .bin file. Nero will burn the .bin image. If you just do a CD in Nero and drag those two files on it, it will bunr them as data files still compressed as the image file. It will not burn the image the way you want it, as multiple files that are the game.
Note: An alternative to opening the .cue through Nero is right-clicking it in Windows, choosing Open-With, and selecting Nero Burning ROM.

just one more question, what if the file is 717 mb will it still fit on the 700MB cd-r?
And btw thanks for all your help.
Edit: I just the disc and seems window cant read it.
-
looks like the other thread got deleted
you need to turn overburn on in nero preference's
-
Is the image file (.bin) 717 MBs, or is the data in the image 717 MBs? I've burned .bin's that were 800 MBs to 700 MB CDs without overburn, because a hundred or more of those 800 MBs were buffer. Often the data in the image that actually needs to be burned inside the image is 700 MBs or less.

Alright, well when i burned the file onto a disc , windows couldnt read , so i decided to use DAEMON tools and it got work done , but thanks for your help.
