:o not to mention the card is HUGE. Check out how long it is :o
the 6 in 256 is backwards.
there is no 9900
NV350 :o
This is like find the easter eggs :D
Don't all your cards look like that?
My card has IDE cable strapped to it too
well the anit static bag is no way near long enough 2 hold the whole thing...........
now that i look closely, i think it connects to 3 (!) PCI slots 2 on the top row, 1 on the bottom :P
they give you the tape dispenser so you can reclose the anti static bag when your done with it.
I want an ATI tape dispenser too!!!
or maybe its the prototype for ati's new intergalactic hyperspace vid card :P
i cant see the pic...
try refreshing, or right click and go to show picture.Quote:

Nope..still cant see it...
looks pretty accurate for a CAD board, but 9900? nope. sorry.
cad boards (like the Quadro 3000g) can easily take 2 slots (that1 takes 3 lol). one for pci, one for AGP. pretty accurate, i must say
unfortunately, none of the CAD boards ati ever made take up that length or 2 slots, let alone 3 slots due to that tape dispenser which if real, would have sounded worse than the original flowFX.
damn thats probably the most painful way to make yourself go deaf.
id say its a joke
i bet some loser got bored with a broken grafix card and added a tape thing to it and some wires nd stuff cos that dont look like it could work
CAD boards are becoming obsolete.
They're too cheap and not much different from other boards nowadays.
not the very good CAD boards.
an earlier topic i started talked about the 3000g, and how it [could] use 3 other 3000Gs over ethernet within the card itself to create one giant card.
1500 usd
too bad i cant see the ********* pick haha
Please leave out the cursing.

See the ********** pic now?
the fine print on the box prolly says:
"experience the very best in advanced 3D powered time travel on the planet. A supercharged, 6000-bit DDR memory interface and a thrilling 631-pixel pipeline generate enough power to deliver real-time astral-plane travel, and power your entire house. this is achieved by the patent pending ATI TAPE DISPENSER, which will propel gaming, and you, back in time (or forward, or sideways, depending on whether you use the 400x AGP slot)"
He only had 9 asterics... you had 10

nope :P
So you use the power from your house to power your house  Sounds scientific enough. :lol:Quote:

i wonder what going sideways into time would be like... :huh:Quote:

this pic originally popped up shortly after the Geforce FX became the laughing stock of the video card world and people were making all those leafblower/hairdryer photoshops out of GF FX images. prolly an annoyed Nvidia supporter's attempt to get back at people for making fun of Nvidia's ridiculous heatsink/fans.
anyway, yeah, the 6 on the box is backwards, there's a ribbon cable plugged into the card, there's a SCSI-sized port instead of a VGA/DVI port, etc etc etc.
also notice that the card is not only too big for the anti-static bag, but it appears to be longer than the BROWN BOX (which for some reason is a completely different size from the red outer box). and doesn't real ATI packaging have knights and gargoyles and other medieval-lookin' junk on it, rather than a couple of badly aligned pics of the purple haired chick from the old Radeon demo? it would be a good photoshop if it weren't such a poor photoshop.
Its just some old card with tape on it i think haha...it doesnt even have a vga plug or nothin
Good photoshop ^^
some ppl have 2 much time on their hands. tsk tsk
@ the ribbon cable comment, some cards have ribbon cables for the vga plug, if it has dvi, sivideo and vga.
my friends card is really skinny but has dvi, svideo and vga, so the vga port isnt connected directly to the board, it connects via a ribbon cable going to the board.
If Vb1234 is editing swearing (Which he has a right to do) im suprised your sig hasnt been edited  I should really stop taking my anger out on little n00b's :PQuote:

Its just some 8mb gfx card with a tape despenser on it with a radeon 9600 box with the 6 turned up side down.

Seriously, like back in that "rate yourself" thread a while ago, most of us know nothing. Oh, lets rate ourselves 10 because we can fit a CPU into a predesigned socket then clamp it in.
We can also read a website and find out a graphics card is going to be released in 2 days! We're all genii!

actually that gives us ALL a perfect right to rate ourselves at a 10. 71% of ppl who try to install a CPU the second time bend a pin to the point of breakage...
lol were all n00bs in ur sense, but in the public sense, were super geeks (im leaving if any1 calls me that <_<... and if some1 calls me a supergeek in this topic i will spam them to my harts consent )

If there is no standard by which to rate oneself, then why does one call another a "noob" ?
I can't believe that ATI merged with Scotch tape for their new cards and didn't even announce it! :P :P :P :P :P
