I am wondering myself.

where did u get that 1 from??
The PrintScreen key works whenever your computer can read/write images (i think), which means it won't work in DOS (text-only), but it will work in any windows-based environment. Windows XP is completely Windows-based (ever wondered why you couldn't just install it from DOS?), therefore, you can use PrintScreen all the time.
moved has nothing to do with kazaa... ???
please think where to post next time you post....

1. Press "Print Screen"
2. open up microsoft paint or any image editing software (adobe, paint shop pro)

you cant print screen in the boot sequence. he wants a picture of the boot screen, so the only way is to use a camera or install it to a virtual pc.
lol.... i can see it now... multitudes of people taking pictures of their computer screens... :D
i dunno...just striked me as funny, thats all
I use VMWare to do this, you can boot up a seperate OS (on a different hd or patition), and take screens when ever you like, as your already running windows.
Go here to see what I mean. You can go to VMWare.com and get the beta for free.

Bear in mind, VMWare wasn't made to make screenshots of the boot process, it emulates the whole system too.
Well, if these images are loaded by the OS they must be somewhere, don't you think. ;)
Use Resource Hacker to retrieve the images from the .exe files. ;)
Windows 95: logo.sys
Windows 98: logo.sys or inside io.sys
Windows ME: inside io.sys
Windows 2000: inside ntoskrnl.exe
Windows NT: winnt256.bmp
Windows XP: inside ntoskrnl.exe (this one is more tricky. Go here for more info). ;)
