THEY LOST!!!!!! 2-1!!!!! Toronto won't make it this year becuase the FLyers are skilled players!!! I want the leafs to win but there is no way :frusty:
Well they come back to Toronto on Wednesday night. Hopefully Fraser isn't officiating again in this series. Someone needs to teach this guy about how to call a hockey game.
Honestly? I still think Toronto can win this series. If they take the next two games at home, it's a whole new ballgame. But players like Reichel have to stop taking the stupid penalties. He's 100% responsible for the loss tonight. Actually, that's not quite true, Esche has been amazing in net for the Flyers. Otherwise, Toronto played very well tonight. A huge improvement over Friday night's game. Not sure when Nieuwendyk is supposed to be back, hopefully it's just his back bothering him again and he'll play on Wednesday, because he's missed out there.
A side note, and I don't know whether this is 100% true or not. Leafs fans who attended Friday night's game in Philly reported absolutely horrendous treatment from the Flyers fans at the game. This included having beer thrown on them, being spit on, and being beaten up in the bathrooms. This kind of thing is truly disgusting, and I hope that the Toronto fans will NOT try the same type of thing on Wednesday night. It's called sportsmanship, and displays like this are absolutely shameful.
nope, leafs suck. it'll be philly vs tampa in the next round. :music1:
i have no idea what sport you were watching?

oya, we won last nite.

Toronto's future looks hazy right now. IF they get past Philly (which I think they can), they'll have to face the cream of the crop, Tamba Bay. A team that handed Montreal their ASSES. Ultimately, I say that the finals will be probably San Jose and Tamba Bay.......hopefully Toronto pulls some miracles though B)
I think Toronto has a very good shot of beating both Philly and Tampa.
They need to keep playing the body. They've done well playing that way, and will continue to do so.
They need to keep at Esche - they proved tonight and Wednesday that he's just human. As far as I'm concerned, he's been playing over his head - he's had a really good streak, but he's never been that great a goaltender.
Same goes for Khabibulin - he's never been all that stellar in net either - he's had a good defense and some good games. If Toronto can score on Esche, and a strong defensive team like the Flyers, they can score on Khabibulin and the Lightning. They're a much bigger team than Tampa Bay as well and much more physical.
The possibility is there that Nolan will be back for a third round, and most likely Nieuwendyk will be playing soon as well. Belfour is playing up to his usually high standard - not over his head, but in his usual style - Sundin is playing well, Domi is giving his body up every check he makes. These guys have a lot of heart and a lot of will. It would be silly to underestimate them. I'm not saying they're going to walk all over everyone. I am saying that they're very capable of taking both series.
In the playoffs, all it comes down to is who wants it most.
Well done boys. :01:
Well said :D Go Leafs Go!!!!!!! :lol:Quote:

woot Toronto won last night. Sundin is playing again and he looks better than ever, 2 goals!!!! B) B) I'm liking this.
hey, we won last night.
series 2-2. i hope we win, but who doesent?
i remember the day when tampa blowed major ass.
Btw - did anyone catch Domi's comments at the end of the game about the fact that the CBC hasn't resigned Don Cherry for next season? (This will apply pretty much only to Canadians or subscribers of NHL centre ice who might get the occasional CBC feed of a game.) That was absolutely priceless.
Oh... and worth mentioning...
TML Page added new wallpapers
Some pretty nice ones there...
Hmm...well.....LOL. Philly is beating Toronto 7 to 2 right now.....hmmm Primeau got a hat trick.....Toronto just got their asses handed to them
O-U-C-H!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn leafs gotta play better than that if they wanna win the cup. Mcabe needs to step up a alot. He did not play well today. what happened to belfour?? i thought he was good? game 6 in toronto on tuesday. damn i can't wait!!
I wasn't allowed to watch the whole game. <_<
Apparently my yelling obscenities and punching stuff wasn't a good example to be setting for the children, so my boyfriend sent me upstairs to cool off after the 2nd period.
Probably a good thing. :(
McCabe played like he was being payed to take a dive or something. Absolutely pitiful. I'm just shaking my head.
jus found out leafs lost the series!!!!......go lea........flames go!!! :D
GO LEAFS GO.....
home...
