I hear that Corp uses less resources, and runs much smoother while being more efficient, so Corp is generall known as better.
I don't really like Norton and use NOD32, myself. I would also recommend AVG, if you're interested.

but how do i know weather i have the trial or full version
which is the AV prorgram that ppl just started having probs with? they got an update that found pirated serials or something?
norton does that it says the keygens are infected
NAV Corp is Beter and dus run smother but it is not as user fredley as 2004 so if u have not used aney norton stuff be for or if you are a noob u shood go with 2004
i used NAV pro 2004 with systemwork it was working well and i liked it
but i most people from this board prefers NOD
thats y i changed to Nod, just to try it out
I am finally using the best AV again Kaspersky. Version 5 Personal is much easier on resources than even SAVC.
AVG 7.0 proQuote:

The new versions use a new algorithm. There's already a new serial floating around, though.
And AVG 6.0 free is still good.

NAV 8.1 Corp is nice...
it uses less resources, works quietly (none of that OMG UR HAXOR3D!), and Live Updates never expire.
Also requires no license key.
It also has the option to operate as a client, if you have/setup a NAV server
SAV Corp 9.0.0.338 seems OK to me.Quote:

SAV Corp 9.0.0.338 is a client-based application from the "get go".
All of NAV's strengths without any of the "crap" standard. If you can find it- nab it!
If you just stick with pro its okay its not a resource hog.
But If you use systemworks, or internet security its grabs all your space and your resources.
sorry, haha21, but compared to other "good" antivirus programs (good being nod32, agv, etc.), norton is a resource hog ;)
NOD32 uses 7mb on my computer (one 3mb file, one 4mb are loaded into memory) :)
don't use norton. use nod. i recently got it working with bt and other p2p progs, and it's beastly! hardly uses any resources, and it scans both my 120gb hdds in 8 min!!! now dats some crazy shit!
yes, so what fixed it, btw, was it that IMON thing?Quote:
