Is It Me Or...

is kazaa really slow these days, downlauding says allmost all the time need morte scources, or is extremely slow

also, mp3 are allmost all fakes, i never saw it that whorse

a few months ago, it wasnt all the whorse...

I've been up to 80+ Ks today (and had a lot of remotely/more sources as well).

So? Business as usual!

Well its not slow if you have a fast internet connection. However i have noticed that the number of users using kazaa has decreased.

I'm seeing 2.4M users at 0830 UK on a Saturday - with UNIs winding down for the summer that's not bad.

I am finding a lot more fake MP3s now - especially 20 secs then silence and (a new one for me) one phrase repeated over and over again (or is my age showing again and its some kind of remix :D :D )

Kazaa sucks at getting music files. Try soulseek for music. :D

And it happend months ago. But a contraddition to this is that the number of files and their avarage volume have increased twice.

if you want kazaa with out the fakes bassicly download ares

I've found that if I have far, far too many downloads waiting to begin (im talking TONS, to where the programs slow as hell) downloads are a bitch.

I deleted probably 200-400 0kb mp3s that simply wouldnt download, and its going great again

Do you mean generally? Because sometimes it says "2 users" and then it says "2728422942 users" once you jump supernodes, or just reconnect to kazaa.

I have fast net speed wise mostly slow and a lot of no pick ups

I Agree with everyone above K Lite is MUCH slower lately even with the huge number of files on line.

I was very interested in Poopypants reply as I have about 120 files in my queue. If I delete them I wonder if my download rate will increase ?

I am on 56K and sometimes get 4 kbps downloading others times I struggle to get 1 or 2 kpbs !

I dont want to delete these files as they remind me which files I want. But I may have to.

Is there some overhead that K lite has that means a large number of files in the queue is hard for it ?
