try going to www.tigerdirect.ca and see what teh price is there, $299 sounds like a high amount, could be wrong though.
normally i would go check it for you, but i am downloading and net is going SO SLOOW it would take me like 5 minutes to get to the cost lol.

Get the 9800 Pro.
You can flash and overclock it to a 9800 XT, if you want.You might also want to check and make sure, if it's 256 bit and not 128.
you cannot flash it :)
OC, yes. not flash. the two cards are different in the way the circuitry works (onboard) and flashing a 9800pro to be an XT will kill your board...
just wait for a few months and get the x800xt at 399 usd

Flashing the 9800 Pro's BIOS and Softmodding it to an XT, can be done.

Don't see what's wrong with OEM....I get all of my parts OEM.....well most of them. Not processor/motherboard.

It's good sometimes but its reassuring to know that ur not buying pulls/refurbished/not meant for retail items.
It's just something about having the original box. The 14day return policy doesn't
hurt either. :D
