Empty Topic Title and Topic Decription........kinda like Musicworld these days - has
nothing new to offer. No new topics, no news of new music, hell - I even miss
the good ole' topics of ABC and Hangman. :)

Seems the topic which gets the most action here in Musicworld is "Funny and weird
Soulseek conversations", which is BOORING at best. <_<

Yeah, some really junk topics lately. I tried making some of the old-school style topics
of Album reviews and the like, but only a few of the old-timers around here seem to
appreciate such things. :(

I have to agree with you there. Musicworld HAS become really stale lately. There used to be some really heated discussions but due to over-moderation these have ceased to happen. Bring on some more conflict&#33;&#33;&#33;

Care to elaborate? Did i close something which should not be closed?
Did i delete something?

FYI, board went tits up and we lost about 2 weeks worth of topics,
I know, is is sucky. I tend to close topics only if the author asks.
I have yet to delete a topic in the MusicWorld.
I have to admit, I have deleted some horrid stuff which was an attack to a
fellow member, something about Kiddie Porn, that wasnt funneh at all,
that stuff dont belong in here.

For the topics about My Band is better that Yours, or I hate this or that,
I find them boring at best, but thats just me and me opinion and still wouldnt
close or edit them.

There was a cool topic about when some member was about to buy a guitar,
that was nice one in my opinion, but its not like every1 plays an instrument
or wants to get one.

With all due respect, this is the only topic on the board that caught my eye... :D

CC--we all miss Grokmusic... problem is.. those sites are too fucking easily available to people... from the average kazaa user right down to the RIAA. Those sites generate so much traffic and attention... when a site like that gets setup, we really shouldn&#39;t post links to it from here... as the attention has caused the closing of many others like it.. <_<

ie.. grokmusic... mp3hq.net... mp3news.cc... mp3shitter (still up, but not being updated)


maybe another round of naked NikkiD pics would spice things up? oh how I miss the threads from year&#39;s past... :ghostface:

Steady on now. No need to get all defensive Slinger. I wasn&#39;t actually thinking of you when I posted that comment. I&#39;ve never had a problem with the way you&#39;ve moderated Musicworld, it&#39;s just that Musicworld was in decline before you took the reins. There has been an attitude of political correctness emeging for quite a while on this forum, mostly it started when all those "Scottish" kids joined then continued with the arrival of those "Celebs" idiots. Why can&#39;t we spend pages and pages insulting each others parentage and musical tastes?? It was fun&#33;&#33; Surely that&#39;s the point of this forum to entertain and inform.

Personally, I think the threads about Hate this/that are rather boring,
and are like magnets for flaming. Remember Adsters I hate Rap thread?

Threads that gets the flaming going on usually will be closed.
Thats the way it has been as long as i remember.

Slinger I for one think you have been doing a great job as mod in music world. In my opinion this section may be a little slow because of the lack of good music coming out these days. Not too much to discuss LMAO.Even the much anticipated Velvet Revolver cd only had two tracks that I realy liked, Slither and Fall to Pieces. If the rest of the songs on the cd were anywhere close to bieng as good os those would have been a rock solid cd from start to finish. Well anyway thanks Slinger for a good job and maybe things will pick up in here soon. :sleep1: :beerchug:
