What!?
Give me any opinions to make my forum better thank.
You can make a forum about anything you want, it's just all about the advertising.
Well I tried
But its hard...
If anyone wants to help thanks.
I need a sucessful forum.
Why do you need a sucssesful forum?
experince...
there are 2 ways to build a successful forum
1. Set it up for RL mates to post jokes and take the micky out of each other - this prob wont grow very much at all though
2. Set up a forum for a piece of software/new tv show/service (like a BT forum) - this will grow roughly proportionate to whatever it is that people use the forum for - eg. this forum was built around k-lite, so as k-l got popular, so did the forum
at the end of the day, anything you set up "for the sake of it" is going to have already been done: a tech forum is pointless, if i had a prob id come here/go to an already large tech forum, cos id get a quicker answer
i dont mean to sound negative, but you need a "pull" - something to set your forum aside...why not write some software if you can? use the forum for news about it
OMG dont steal the everything Forum idea!!!
i already have a "Everything Talk Forum" (linky in sig)
and its slowly growing... now dayz getting 1-3 new members sign up a day... so its gon aget popular :) (Hopefully  )
you guys should join
getting people to join isn't usually very difficult...it's getting them to participate once they have joined...
yea but for memebers to join they dont wana see empty forums... and if they wana post they wana see some interesting threads ;)Quote:

That doesn't sound right :x .
I just registered on your forum do you can say that this topic is responsible for 1 more member..........
any others?
It's tough starting a forum. I have about 8 or 9 forums that i run. Most are successful, some aren't. You just have to stick with a project once you start. If you aren;t getting many people, try advertising in a different way. Don't just drop the idea after a week of failure. Forums take time to develop. Keep people interested, come up with something original, and even possibly have people make posts for you in exchange for something.
goodluck
