i need to know so if u view this just throw in ur 2 cents
OK first K++ is a very stable version that really works...KLite is kinda buggy and for me i cant open KLite
KL 2.6 Is based on KMD 2.6 NOT the ancient KMD 2.0.2 as KLK++ is. Advantages are:
* K-Lite is still in developement... K++ isnt... like Autumn Fox said, nsane simply updated third party tools
* Has multi-tabbed searches
* Connects to other KMD 2.6.x supernodes
* Forced viewing of traffic and search
* "jump supernode" function uses "soft jump"- doesnt pause up/downloads
* "Single click downloads"
does k-lite have all the same tools as k++ has
Yes.
well K++ is easier to install than KLite and i think K++ is faster ;) and also KLite u needa install both KMD AND KLite
No you dont need both KLite and KMD MasterofChaos :frusty:
but when i installed KLite RC22 on my comp. it installed KMD in my Add or REmove rogramsQuote:

You need both the K-Lite Installer and the KMD Installer don't you???
It depends on what you want to do.
If you want every bell and whistle on your client then K-Lite is for you.
If you want a stable and proven platform that does the job without too much fuss then KL243 is your best friend.
The link on the nsane website for the runtime files doesnt work for me...
is there another link for the runtime files if your pc desnt have them? I need the runtime files (i get an error for dll missing or something).
thanks
Well, K-Lite doesnt install kmd, it just extracts kazaa.exe and magnet.exe which is required for k-lite to run. If you dont feel confortable having the kmd installer on your computer, just find the files kazaa.exe and magnet.exe seperatly. (I know a lot of mirrors have them. Just search around) ;)Quote:

I have K-lite v2.6 since weeks running and there are no remarkable bugs in. In my opinion K-lite v2.6 is ready for the release.
I'm keen what FTFakes and Lite do more on the program. B)
i agree with oldjagman, the K++ 2.4.5.2 is the best if you dont want EVERY SINGLE FEATURE on ur software, than K++ is better than the KLiteQuote:
