disagree.......... its borig......
well........... most scifi shows are.......... movies can be good though ;)
you gotta watch it from the beginning, i could see how it would be boring if someone just watched a new episode or somethin. like me and enterprise, that show seems very boring to me cuz i didnt like the idea of it being in the past so i never picked it up. now i havent the faintest whats going on
  :lol:Quote:

scifi = soap

sg1 used to be ok but - imho at least - it got very boring the last couple of seasons.
odyssee 5 was quite good, too bad it got axed :(
firefly was pure fun, nothing involving your grey matter but very enjoyable :)
the best ever: babylon 5 :D
stargate was ok.
I much prefer stuff like Andromeda, Babylon 5, First Wave and Star Trek tho'.
And Space Above and Beyond and whatever else i might have forgotten, hmm.
Lexx is kinda' funny too, and Lone Gunmen, if that classifies as sci-fi

If you dont like sci-fi series, you cant come in here and so you disagree.
The show is the most watch sci-fi series. It gets 8's and 9's for ratings (# of people watching) just for the re-runs on Monday.
Star Trek The Next Generation owns. Voyager is also good.
I don't think any other Sci-Fi can hold a candle to Star Trek.
Oh and Futurama rules.

Babylon 5
Stargate SG-1
Space Above and Beyond
Star Trek TNG
Greatest American Hero
X-Files
Farscape is the only sci-fi show that interests me.
Never could get into Babylon 5, Star Trek in any form makes me puke blood and Andromeda was painful at best.
Futurama was cool, does that count?
what does Imo mean?
In My Opinion Stargate SG-1 has some very good episodes and some just plain terrible episodes, especially in the first season and the last coupleQuote:

i'm not sure if i ever really liked sci-fi shows before, but they all annoy me now with their inane physics, damn my A-level physics education

Both sites are about Star Trek physics impossibilities...pretty interesting.
sg1 is an awesome show, granted the last couple of seasons r just plain gay. i think it's cuz they need daniel back, i don't like the new guy (he's a fag) <_<
he is back, hes been back for a whole season now
Stargate SG-1 andQuote:

Sci-fi Friday is back again!!!

i dont know why everyone says the latter seasons are gay, i think they are awesome! just when you think there cant be someone more difficult to topple, a worse baddy comes.
I am a Lexx fan, its dirty, kinky, bizzare and eclectic in its approach, funny and weird with great original storylines....the darker, grubbier side of sci-fi.
Farscape has some of this dark/humorous approach to sci-fi and is also one of my favourites.
Star trek and Dr Who is where I started...be warned, its like any addiction...you start clean and then it all becomes rather seedy.
SG-1
Srar Tek Generatins and Voyager
Quantem Leap
I hope we get SG-1 and Atlantis here in the UK soon!even better if some one from the USA could stick them in the Verifieds,Please :D
How could I forget about Lexx and Farscape?!!!Quote:

Lexx- Hail the Brunin-Gee and the Shadows
star trek TNG is my favorite series but im not sure if you can call it "recent".
futurama is the only sci-fi im watching now. Ive only seen parts of a few episodes of sg-1 but from what I saw it wasn't bad. Im waiting for my friend to let me watch his DVD box sets because I don't like to miss episodes.
My favorite recent series was planet ES. I think that if you liked star trek you will love this series. Great story, great chracters and it made me beleive that something like what happened in the story could happen in the future. It has the same reasons why I liked star trek. Just don't let the fact that its anime turn you off.
X Files is the best.
TNG and Voyager are also good.
The mini-series Taken was OK but the ending was weak.
I agree. :)Quote:

Clip shows are the surest sign that writers have run out of ideas...I hate clip shows with a passion.
