Which firewall program should I use? Sygate Pro or Zone Alarm Pro
I use Sygate Pro, I never really liked ZA, give both a try and use the one You think does the job best.
Rossco 2004's pinned guide has some reviews and links ,check it out . I'v only ever used ZA
So I'm the wrong person to give advice , on the two. ;)
..
ZA + Router defeats sygate alone.
..
+ router
Sygate :01:
Ive been using Zonealarm for months now with no problems. :)
Sygate Pro , never had any problems.

how about saying za can beat sygate plus router.
that is, if u are rooting for za.
anyway i still say just using a router and having no firewall is best. ;)
Can't block outgoing traffic well with a router.
So you need both for a maximum of protection.
And I have to say sygate pro is the better firewall.
Less heavy on the system.
ZA is child's play setting up, but the latest version sucked last I checked.
i use version 4.5 pro still works very well and doesnt need to be updatedQuote:
