Shit, is it on default that you can't send someone a message? Unless they have enabled Kidda stupid no?
I'm thinking you could help someone faster with a quick PM instead of a new post or thread!
Edit: Flame aswell too ! :]

that had been discussed. but not yet solved. I agree that admin needs to change the default of PM is always on not off as now.
It's not on by default.
I think this is one of the things they're currently working on, enabling certain options by default.

They should also turn on a lot of other things by default like the enhanced text editor (for smileys), receiving emails when a pm is sent, seeing sigs and avatars and images on by default, and it shouldn't auto-subscribe to topics.
yes otherwise where going to get noobs in here and 230000 threads about it
I agree with the auto subscribe, that sucks.
Personally I don't like getting emails telling me I have a new pm
isn't there a option in the CP too turn that shit off??
I'm sure I saw it
I don't care I don't even look in the email I used for this board in fact I don't even know what my email address is for this board.
Sorry to drag up an old thread. But I tryed to send a [senior] member a pm about something funny . Guess what? no pm enabled. Fuk it! I'm just going to spam my posts,Instead of communicating with pm messages . Simple thing really ,why is this so hard to convey to managment? :D
