Wow....LimeWire is the best. Period. I'm on 56K and I LOVE it, great speeds, and contrary to what DSA16 said, I've been using Limewire Pro for about a year, and I haven't gotten a single virus to date.

And oh yeah, WinMX blows. :dry:

I used WinMX for a week, and I could only download a few songs, the rest were either qued, or were fakes.

u got to try for awhile more once u have it for along time u will get tons of files, count on it :)

Limewire Pro ownz. I use it and like it. Speed are good and I haven't had a fake or virus yet. It must be doing something good then. :)

I just recently switched to Limewire and absolutely love it. It's alot like what Kazaa was several years ago before the Spyware and crap started taking over your computer. Limewire gets more results than Kazaa and is more stable than Morpheus. IMO it's the best P2P out there. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

i havent came across a currupted but there are some songs where WMP says that its currupted but then if u play it with videolan it works

and i have came accross a virus but i really dont know if it was a virus or not wut it did was when i clicked on the files it installed like 200-300 other files on my comp

Oh I know. I got that shit too once in a while. I dunno why. It works then later WMP says it's corrupted. :blink:

I was addicted to Klite when I first downloaded it, now I don't think I could ever go back now that I've got Limewire.

LimeWire 4.1.8 Pro includes the following changes:
- Bootstrapping now makes use of multicast hosts prior to attempting UDP Host Caches.
- Locale preferencing is less important (which should reduce the fragmentation that some locales are seeing).
- Bootstrapping is even faster, making use of more lightweight UDP pinging to hosts prior to making heavyweight TCP connections.
- Corrupted data on disk can no longer cause LimeWire to report errors or fail to start up.
- The 'Review' and 'Tell A Friend' links from the Help menu have been removed.
- Spanish users will see a completely new (nearly 100% complete) translation.
