If you still want to use Azureus with java, I suggest you get a better version of Java to download. Anyways, I have heard good things about BitComet as you can lower the amount of ram use in the settings. Download link here: http://www.bitcomet.com/Quote:

PC Model: Dell Dimension 2100
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
RAM: 256mb
Video: 16mb
Hard Drive: 80gb (only have around 3gb since a virus took around 50gb, and I don't have my WinXP cd to reformat)
Also, when I try to run Azureus, I get an error saying that my java.dll is not a valid windows image
Thats A BiZZare Statement Inedeed...Quote:

why not download another copy? any copy of winxp will do, check suprnova for one with all the service packs slipstreamed. Why can't you get back your hard drive space without reformatting & what virus did this?
Can you borrow an xp disc from a friend?
I can not use BitTorrent much, the reason I asked for a low ram use client, is since it will crash my computer when my RAM goes too low. And, I have no idea what did that to my hard drive, but the day that happend (almost a month ago), my antivirus did not find a single virus... and yes my definitions are up to date (I am using AVG 7)
Hunted, go to http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_remtext.php?id=bagbugnet and download vcleaner.exe, restart your pc in safe mode and run vcleaner, this should remove any virus you're got cos avg's scan might've missed something.:)
Alright, thanks, downloaded it, I'll run it after BT is running (downloading something in BT, it seems to be working good... downloaded 500mb+ so far) ... after I finish downloading this, going to download WinXP
=Edit=
Alright, almost ready to download WinXP, which should I download WinXP pro with SP2 integrated or WinXP Corp SP2?
True I just though considering youde have access to another perhaps...
I am currently downloading "Windows XP Pro Corp incl. SP2_(BY AL-LORD)_(arabsgate.com)" anyone know if that would work?
Can't see why it wouldn't work, unless your hard drive is knackered, have you tried system restore and scandisc?
yes the CORP version is the best version if you are going to be downloading windows.Quote:

No, do you know of any good bad-sector scanner program? I am suprised, I was able to download WinXP without a single error (yipee)
Use the xp one, right click on C; drive > Properties > Tools tab > Check now.;)
I just reformatted my hard drive... have all my hard drive back (yay!) maybe BitTorrent will work better as well
Sounds Good...Quote:

Great, my PC is still crashing because of BitTorrent... I started a download last night, it crashed at only 100 mb
Update the drivers for your modem and graphic card.
Alright, for the modem driver, all the drivers are for USB, and I don't use a USB to connect, I use a network cable, does that even matter?
(My modem is a Toshiba PCX2600
You reformatted your h/d, this means you lost all your latest drivers, update all the drivers you can think of.;)
