ccleaner is good.
registry cleaners are also important.
Check my out everything guide and look at the cleanup section.
btw, this is software not hardware.

Imo cc is worthless. DustBuster is the king of junk file removers.
Don't know about DustBuster,but I just used crapcleaner and it freed up 268.9MB of space :01:
To do a complete cleaning of your HD and erase deleted files use eraser.

I like all of the above , but find myself using System mechanic more and more.
Just because I like an all around tool. Its good for NOobies aswell . :)

Edit: What I ment was with system mech. Its like tweak xp or NSW ,in that you can do so much more!
