Firefox.
Easy to use.
Secure.
Free.
Covers Windows, Mac & Linux.
Never used Opera, but I love FireFox.

Opera is the best browser out there. YOu all know it!

Firefox becuase of all the extensions. :D
it's more customizable. :)
Firefox
i've never used opera, but am currently using firefox.
pros for ff
1. faster access for web pages
2. tabbed web pages
3. extensions
4. pop-up blocker
5. ad-ware extension!
6. saves favicons
cons for ff
1. memory leak for some gifs
2. unable to play some video clips on certain pages that ie can
3. when sorting or deleting of bookmarks, bookmark tool bar minimizes as ie doesn't
that's all i have for now and i'm sure these will be resolved.
OPERA!!!!! No question.
I tried Firefox, and it sucked in comparison (no offense firefox fans...)
Opera's got mouse gestures and plainly, a better system altogether. Much faster
Use both, But I'm using FF much more often these (post 1.0 final) days.
both i use opera when im pissed off of firefox for going to slow, so i whould recemend use both from time to time
you can get mousgesture extensions.Quote:

what do you mean by "a better system altogether?"
It's faster and very customizable.
Opera Has too much craps, menu bars and tools bars r too messy,
Go fire Fox.
I've used Opera before, and didn't like it at all. I found IE to be a better browser in comparison, honestly.
Of course, firebird/fox also used to have sooo many bugs and screw up all the time, so I also used to use IE over that as well.
I've tried the latest versions of each, and honestly, Opera still sucks big time. However, on the other side of this, Mozilla has done a great job with the new versions of Firefox, and that is my current borwser of choice.
I mean, Opera vs. IE might be a fair comparison, but Opera vs. Firefox? Come on guys.
Firefox is the best browser out there by miles.

In Opera, it is very easy to customize menus by changing their positions or adding and removing buttons and search fields, etc.Quote:

You can also compare this to Opera and Firefox. I personally tried Opera, and didnt like it. Havent used ff yet... but I am happy with MYIE2. They actually renamed it Maxthon.
