HL2 Deathmatch

I finally got it working, but when I try to connect to a server, the load screen comes up, and then this message shows.

And it goes back to the server screen.

Help!

I also get this error when I try to start my own server in HL2 Deathmatch.


And I have another problem! When I try to start CS:S, I get this error message.

EDIT: I just tried logging into steam, and while it said connecting the console dissappeared, and steam was nowhere to be found. Im scared now, did they detect I had a non-legit version of HL?

I heard it was pretty bad. Why don't u reinstall CS: S then if u really want to play that then just buy the game. CS owns HL2 Deathmatch. ;)

Okay. I apologise to anyone I offended by my bumping.... I got CSS working, but there is no gravity gun, and there are alot of fun things you can do in HL2 Deathmatch.

Okay i am not in europe, so things do not cost euro's. Here in jolly old United States, HL costs 50 USD's. Which is a little more than a day's pay on miniumum wage. I will not pay that for a few compact discs.

1) £'s as in pounds as in Uk currency not Euros.
2) Current 3:$ is abou 1:2 roughly. So if its £0 that should be $60 USD.
3) Min wage is like £5 so thats $10 an hour so thats five hours work.
4) If you want to play online buy the game, is worth it.

Minimum wage is not 10$ dollars an hour. Minimum wage is about 5$ here in jolly old United States. Know what you are talking about before correcting me, thanks. 10 hours of work would equal 50$.

Re-read what i said. Its about £5 and according to the exchange it should be $10. Not my problem if its not. you should be hppy you have been able o test the game for this long before buying it.

You should read wha people say before trying to correct them.

anybody wanna test my facility clone?

I would love to, but in order to begin the game, I need GCF Scape. I cant get it because the only site that has it, tells me there is a database error.... So if anyone has that respond to my post in softwareworld, or this one.

i dont know how to edit host options. i dont even know if this is being broadcast.

i'm gonna add some objects, weapons, door frames and window frames and host ge_facility_05. i'll make a post when i do

this is what i've done so far, with some proposed stuff drawn on in psp. the blue is gonna be an extended ventilation system :shifty:
