ok ive been trying to fix this all day with no luck i like the fade option in winamp and i have all of them turned on including fade at end of song but everytime i close the options it always turns on crossfade and turn fade at end of song off http://forums.winamp.com/images/smilies/mad.gif could some1 help ASAP! thanks.

Get rid of crappy ass Winamp. Almost every post that contains a media player problem is dealing with Winamp.

@ Mofos - Could you tell me what exactly you have done, and what exacty the problems you're having please? Have you turned on crossfade in the settings?
Yes ive turned on crossfading but it fades into the next song before the one thats playing is even finished but i remeber before i never needed crossfade on for it to fade to the next song.:blink:Quote:

Theres a small counter so you can choose how many seconds of crossfade you want, its best to keep to 1-2 seconds or you will end up with your current problem.

The most important factor here is...what version are you using? If you're not using the latest (5.07), I suggest you upgrade, uninstall your old version and try that first. If you already have the latest version, uninstall it and clean up the registry etc.Quote:

higher = more fade

Well i got that part but even when i put it 20 it the fade isnt long;)
the songs blend together longer...u might not hear it depending on the types of song being played.
i switched to music match after i had a crapload of problems with winamp
i find that it works a bit better
