Don't knock yourself out, Granddad!!
You're how old, 22? Look for something a bit more flashy, something with a bit more va va voom, know what I mean? :)
nah man am not much in voooom voom
i just want a car with good show.
Unless you just want to run into a car dealership with your pants around your ankles. I got some questions. How long do you plan (yes I said plan) on keeping this vehicle. Is money a concern (cash on the barrel, monthly pymnts, repairs, gas, ins., etc.)? Do you plan (yes theres that word again) on going off-roading? Is new important to you, if so why? There's the very basics, ignore all this if the 1st sentence fits you.
I can't in any good conscience bring myself to vote for any of the above. I'm very sorry... :crying: ;)Quote:

Where are you buying this magic new car? If not from a new car dealer?

Toyota Camry 2005
My dad owns a Toyota Avensis, and he's used a huge variety of cars in his line of work. He said Toyota are really on form and he hasn't had any trouble from his car in over a year.
The Toyota Camry 2005 looks decent too :)
Idk camry seems a little small...the Altima looks bad ass.
the Altima ;)
The Honda Accord isn't listed so I chose the Toyota Camry.

i think discoverys are actually capable off road though arent they
The 'new' Discovery is quite a beast - but also quite expensive :(Quote:

lol. toyotas do not suck! anyone who watches top gear will know that
keep thinkin that
and my knowledge of cars is more extensive than what a tv show tells me :\
you're knowledge of cars is still based in 1944 :01:
Certainly JD Powers surveys suggest that Japanese is the smart buy.
My Nissan (touch wood) has given me a couple of years of good service. I would buy another.
u should get a mustang
did you think about the options?
Dude, **** buying a car, lease it.
Listen, and listen closely, there were only 2 good mustangs ever made.
1967
1969 Mach III
now stfu u stupid n00bs that claim to know about mustangs, as for a car, get that 1967/69 mustang if u can (and god help u cuz of the maintanence) then grab urself a mazda3, really good car, really really good.
agreed, FORD = found on road dead
Nowadays, fords are ****in stupid cars, but back in the day (30 years ago), they were the kings of the road, and you know that stupid n00b.
1967 Mustang = ****in ownag3 (stock 600 horsepower, STOCK)
Planing, even extensively and with care, is the wrong way to acquire an automobile.
Good move if you're a woodworker, though.

Of the poll options stay with a Toyota Camry.
I had a '93 Camry that ran perfect until it was totaled.
I now have Lincoln LS (Ford product) and a '92 Camry. Both are fine.
My mother has a '05 Camry.
There is a reason that the Camry is now the number one selling car in America.
Land Rover makes good trucks but the only one worth looking at is the Range Rover. The Discovery and other are shit to look at.
My friend in NYC has one and I can't believe he bought one new when he had the money for a Range. Super expensive for both so you may as well get good performance and cosmetics.
