the wait is 24 hours and the blocking ports thing is check all of the boxes and then uncheck the first one and the last one ;)

lol, ya they are pretty long file names. for some reason i can't seed after i've done downloading a file, well actually so far i've only downloaded one file from there (southpark ep 814), once i'm done downloading it i left it on, came back an hour later only to find out that i'm not uploading/seeding to anyone. WTF? i dont' want my share ratio to be a low one, i'm trying to do my part :(

Most BT clients have different upload settings, the most common are to seed indefinitely after the file is downloaded, to seed until your ratio becomes 1 and to seed 30 minutes after the download has finished.

For some reason ABC is set to the latter of those options by default, maybe other clients are that way too. I'm really not sure about that but I expect you need to tweak the upload settings of whichever client you have.

Yeah, I'm 0.05 down from a 1.0 ratio but erm...I...er...uploaded it on another account. Yeah that's it.

Edit: The reason I started the original thread idea for people's Torrentbits ratio was because I recognised a few names from here that were seriously leeching from TB. Funny that the biggest leech would now start a thread like mine... :lol:

I only joined 2 days ago so my ratio sucks, however my Withcheese account has a much better ratio. I think I'm about 0.95 overall :unsure:

Been waiting two days for a confirmation email from one site too many members in th other. :helpsmili

Still have a couple of torrents leftover but gonna be struggling verrrry soon :blink:

This TB2 thing looks 'interesting' if a little dubious. :ermm:

Have you looked at Elitetorrents yet ZC?

UKNova is an excellent site for British television programmes past and present.

TorrentSpy is very good as well.

MySpleen is very good for rarer television programmes.

This thread is excellent for posting your ratios in for whatever tracker you decide to join.

Tried elitetorrents (twice) got through but still haven't had my confirmation email :huh: thirty six hours plus and counting. Tried Filelist but picked an already in use username and when I retyped it was full :( , they seem to have upped the limit by five thousand today but I still can't get in :no:

I'll give the others a look ta, you tried the TBtwo thingy? :blink:
