Winamp 5.08 released

Nullsoft Winamp is a fast, flexible, high-fidelity media player for Windows. Indeed. For the first time ever, I'm going to skip this version and wait til they release something with more fixes or whatever.

I think they've done this so it coincides with Christmas or something :blink:

well, you can't rely on that, i just checked in 5.06 and it says "Final Edition (for now)" :P

• Fixed Critical Security Flaw is on every single release. They havn't removed that text since 5.02 if I remember correctly. If you click on it, it just takes you to version history. Was fine when 5.02 was the last player released but now they can't be bothered to remove it.

last week someone discovered a flaw in winamp 5.07. couple of weeks back there was a flaw found in 5.06
