I have recently downloaded a couple of key gens and they all seemed to have viruses in them.
Why is this ?
Is this a plot by the software companies to put people off using keygens ? like the Fake music mp3 files ?
I recently downloaded System Mechanic 5.00 with a key gen and the key gen had a virus in it ! And there were lots of sharers of that file !

cuz u Use Kazaa and various Clint to download them which r full of Fakes and virus
use Keygen and crack sites instead.
if you use crack-locator :shifty: they're usually safe but use a secure browser and watch out for the spyware in the .rar easily avoidable if i could remember the name
Alternatively, if you're downloading the software as well as the cracks then just look for copies that have the crack/keygen included. Even better, look for releases by known release groups.

The strange thing for me this time was that the zip file inlcuded the software and the keygen with the virus in it ! (System mechanics 5.00)

Please do point me in the direction of keygens on Gamecopyworld :rolleyes: . You should never have to download a keygen by its self. If a release is spread then its not nuked so it either contains a working keygen or a cd key in the nfo.Quote:

If you use Kazaa, make sure that the file has many users, at least 5 or more, 10 if you really want to be safe. And make sure they all have different users. But I would highly suggest not doing this. Only use keygens that come with releases.
learn about verifieds too
or learn what irc and ftp are and get them directly from the makers :P
