ignore Rip The Jacker.
there are 2 cards that are currently the best AGP cards u can get, the only difference is what card you'd rather have.
Ati Radeon X800 XT 256MB
or
Nvidia Geforce 6800 Ultra 256MB
personally i'd get the Radeon X800. but both of those cards are the best AGP cards u can get.
I read somewhere else , that that Quaddro Card sucks for gaming....Quote:

I'd go for the Geforce 6800GT 256. Last gen cards I would have said radeon(which would have been the 9800xt 256) but between these (6800GT or x800xt) I'd rather have the geforce.
I hear great things about the chip.
EDit: scratch gt, it should say UE.
The R is getting better game benchmarks right now bu fails to have Pixal Shader 3.0. The Geforce has Pixal Shader 3.0 so in about 3-4 years when game makers start using Pixal Shader 3.0 the R card will not be able to run them.Quote:

Its not the absolute best, its a graphics design card. You wouldn't be able to game on it properly.Quote:

No. The current cards are pushing AGP right to the limit thats why PCI Express was made, its so much faster basically.Quote:
