Expecting teenagers to be grateful for having the opportunity to learn an obscure dialect is going a bit far, dontcha think ;)

The girls from the Welsh School taught us swear words, which came in handy. That is the only practical use I can think of - unless you're a bit of a romantic, which I'm not.
