They started off with thailand then expanded, as far as I know a majority of the photage I've seen was from thailand, and the muppets they interviewed were in thailand. This would be 'cos we didn't have many tourists in Sri Lanka.

And you can't deny it seems highly aimed at how the catastrophy affects us.
Except when they add some new and faraway statistics about how many more have died in some new place.

If anything I think there should be more about how the people who actually live in the places that got hit are coping, as it's them who took the brunt of the blow.

All of these tourists in Thailand aren't the only ones suffering, and I'd like them, the media, to acknowledge that better.
