I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has played CoR: Escape from butcher bay, and has any thoughts on it ? It was previously released on Xbox and then onto the PC. I saw a trailer of it on G4tect tv and the game looks pretty awesome , and it got pretty good ratings..
only played it on the xbox - but the pc is versio is identical apparently (except for 2 extra control a robot bits).
quite a good game - very atmospheric and youll enjoy playing it - but personally dont think its an absolute classic tho
definitely a solid 8/10 fps tho - and theres some good set peices - well worth a look
10/10 no doubt about it, has a lot of replay value and just plain kicks ass, the voice acting is superb, the best i've ever heard in a game. graphics are awesome and definately not what i expected my xbox could handle but it did. very good story too. check it out.

Great game, look way better on the PC then on the xbox. If your a fan of the COR series, this follows it well.

hard? i know everyone on this board will be at a different level of gamesplaying - but i dont think its particularly hard - just dont play it like a regular fps - learn to sneak up on poeple and crack there necks and youll be fine
besides theres something strangely good about snapping peoples necks in the dark.....
oh dear - i must stop playing violent video games. it seems the politicians are right - ill be killing people in the dark next.wankers......
I still don't understand. The story says he got the eyes for 20/10 menthols from this preacher guy or something but he got it from that voice.. was he being sarcastic or what?
And the is the timeline messed up? because the voice challenges him to go to Butcher bay but he already has the eyes but he got the eyes when he was in Butcher bay.

The sprit is using the guys body to give riddick the eyes. If you re-watch Pitch Black the little boy (who's really a girl) asks where he/she can get eyes like that. Riddick replys with 'You've gotta go to the hardest slammer in the sector, fight your wa throught the ranks, kill peole, meet a guy get a nice eye shine job' or something along the lines of that.
cool, when i played riddik i thought his eyes were like that from the begninig, if i knew they revelaed so much i would've stuck thru the game..oh well if i see it on newsgroups ill grab it again.Quote:
