Is it possible for the lounge to manage a whole day using properly spelt and grammatically correct English?
The freedom of creative expression and even creating new forms of language is highly recommended. I bow down to these innovations.

No, it's not possible cos those of us who are crap at spelling and grammar would be checking everything in word or some such prog and would take ages to post by which time the post we make would be redundant.
Thank you for the nice idea tho and good luck with it for those who take part :)
Jonno
Spellcheck for IE and Spellbound for Firefox can do it and fast.Quote:

Spelt is ok. It is just a little archaic but it still serves the purpose.Quote:

This is not very handy in business situations. Hence the creation of this thread.
edit : i even had to grammatically edit this post twice, :01: to achieve immaculate perfection.
 I agree, but where's Manker when you want him :frusty:Quote:

Personally I don't believe in full stops, I think someone just made them up to annoy us
Jonno
I was trying to get away with while he and JP were missing, otherwise I'd be in trouble and have to write lines no doubt
In Jonno's case, i think a smilie, is the same as a full stop.
(just bigger)
@Dan...... I think we should boycot (prolly spelt wrong) all grammar :01:
@Zed..... That is just simply not true
:P
Jonno
I will henceforth refer to myself as a "I".
That spellbound extension wasn't liked by my firefox :(
I bet your all hoping i don't post in the lounge today

I think it looks inelegant when used before a smiley so I don't use one.
The few posts I've read of Ziggy's this morning have been excellent, btw. He's even started writing you're when appropriate and his use of ellipses is perfect :01:
So far, touch wood :whistlingQuote:
