Counter-Strike: Source Update Released

A Counter-Strike: Source update is available and will be applied automatically when Steam is restarted. The changes include:

Counter-Strike: Source

* Added Counter-Strike bots.
* Added new bomb defusal map de_tides
* Updated version of de_cbble to allow bots to navigate ladders
* Updated version of cs_office. Fixes minor issue with projector
* Updated version of de_dust2 to allow 40 players
* Optimization to the way that dynamic props are checked. On higher end CPUs, this can result in more than a 5% total frame rate increase
* Fixed bug where players would get twice the normal money at the start of a round
* Weapon models are now checked at startup to make sure they are within limits for size
* Fixed a bug that would allow a player to throw two flashbangs at once
* Added “motdfile” cvar, which sets the filename for the message of the day on the server
* Fixed logic that will automatically kick players for killing hostage or being idle for a long time

w00t , Singa's Six-Steam is updating the game :D , hopefully it'll work.

i thought the only way u can play CSS online by downloading the emporio or some other version and then dowload the updates manually... :wacko: which we had to wait for them to be cracked...

And this is safe?

I mean, if there is a way for them to know what you're doing and that you infact didn't pay for the games.

Sure piracy could be considered stealing, but this is comparable to taking the game off the store shelf.

Is there a homesite for Six-Steam or Steam-Down? All I found was this site, /URL removed. and it seems to be a mirror hosting both programs.

Just a quick question. By using Steam-Down I can download ALL the games FREE? And what about a key?!?! And does it really connect and play online?

EDIT: Lol, new at this. Do I need a valid key and/or the disks?

You dont need cracked steam. I have a patch that tricks steam into thinking you have the games. You can have legit steam, just you need the patch. Is there an Emporio release out yet?

I think they already know. Cause I read in that above link someone posted above that there was once a homesite but Valve/Sierra tore it down. Plus, I would think they would already know.

There trying to stop people from distributing it, but i don't think they'll try and fix it. There just going to have to deal with it. ;) I do think people need to stop talking about it, if you have it good. Tell friends, but don't post it on sites. It only shows Steam that people are using it on a mass margin.

Alright, I'll give it a try. Cause I was viewing the Half-Life 2 thread and everyone was saying to get that one version cause its hacked/patched and everything. Then over here, get Steam-Down and get alll the games without any key needed.

Lol, just a bit confused. Never played Half Life/Counterstrike before :lol:
