You can, uh, sing in the pub while drinking.
that seems a little gay tbh :ermm:
Or irish, if you will.
I've been there with a College trip. I think mainly people just drink in Dublin.
JP will tell me I'm wrong, but I'm not :shifty:
There was also singing, wasn't there?Quote:

'twas prolly 'cos you were only visiting.
i'll be there for 4 days, do they have food there or is it just drink?
All Irishmen are skinny. I think it's fairly safe to say only drink.Quote:

Take a trip round the city on one of the open top buses*. Lovely place. Tour the Guinness factory. Beautiful place(On the way out :) ).
I was told to avoid the City centre at night time. This from an Irishman who has lived there all his life.
Dont take the Guinness pint off the bar until the barman tells you it is ready. They fill the about threequarters full then allow them to 'settle' a bit before finally topping them up. :)
* There are a lot of open top buses. Dont know if they started out that way or have had them 'opened' on the assumption that they were cans of Guinness.
If you've got time (and it's still going at this time of the year), do the Viking Adventure tour, it's on a refitted WW2 Amphibious vehicle, and they take you into the water and around the canal.. It's tremendous!!
:)
EDIT:

Doesn't open till mid-february though...
I think they do that in pubs all over.Quote:

I used to do it and I've never been over 30. Unless you're saying that over 30s are lazy bar stewards, if so I tend to agree :01:
It’s been my experience that younger bar stewards have no time for ale settlement and can only pull the tops of wkd’s, not all of them, but a large percentage
If I'm ever about while you're in the pub, I'll pop behind the bar and give you one.
Restore your faith in the under 30s bar steward ;)
Ooor eeeer :unsure:Quote:

I've never been but would love to go.
My mates have been there on various occasions and they have nothing but glowing reports for all that you find. The folks, drink, food, night life etc are supposed to be great. Though I have heard it is at the pricier end of the market.
If you get a chance go :) , in fact if you get achance take me with you :01: and I shall protect you from mankers amorous advances so he is unable to give you one
I'll still find a way :shifty:
Don't worry rob, hadn't crossed my mind. Tis impossible, anyway :D

I'm getting discombobulated a lot today.
Do you keep your trousers on for that? :unsure:Quote:
