Quick launch question. Is there an independent registry tweak or something (no bloated tweak program(s) please) that will allow XP to have more than 3 shortcuts without that annoying double arrow on the taskbar? Thanks.

omg you don't know how to make it bigger?
right click the taskbar (in an empty place) and uncheck "lock toolbars" then drag the little line to make the quicklaunch longer.
lol  all this time, he's been clicking on the lil arrow
Hahaha.
Don't laugh. It's not funny :dry:Quote:

Edit: after a reboot it's still OK.
Crap that little double arrow is back. wtf?
i like the arrow
it comes back if you make it too small or if you add a new program (they sometimes add themselves when you install).Quote:

So my original question still stands peanut gallery. Btw my OS is XP VLK.
...it stays for me so you must be doing something wrong...
uhhh....
did you re-lock it after you changed it?
may help, dunno
i always re-lock it after changing something
i have no problems with it :P
Yes I relock the taskbar. Still that fn double arrows shows up after a reboot or two.
you could hide the launcher all together and install desktop sidebar and stick them all on that. I use it I think it's a great app. If you are interested and need any help let me know. :)Quote:

You will need to re-download to use.
does this mean if it screws up your taskbar you need to re install it, the taskbar I mean, or the other way around. It is early in the morning and I is confused
Ahhhh. No solution. :frusty:
So do I... you can keep the quick launch short-cuts and not have your taskbar look so damn cluttered, IMO.Quote:
