ok then, that explains it :)
yea i was gonna post about this i thought the board was fucked or somethin.
to fix it (in firefox) add this line to your usercontent.css file found in c:\documents and settings\{name}\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\default.xxx\chrome\:
PHP Code:
a[class="bigusername"] { font-weight:bold; font-size:1em !important; text-decoration:none;}
This fix doesn't work for me, altho' each time it's posted I always give it another go :frusty:Quote:

I'll check it out again when I get home though.
works fine for me... :huh:Quote:

Good point, I haven't upgraded to the final version. I think I'll do that later and try it then.Quote:

try this, in the board's stylesheet place this...
then in the skin's template place the following tag around the {user_title} part, or whatever it is in vB...Code:.nounderline{text-decoration: none;}
should work :unsure:HTML Code:<span class="nounderline">{user_title}</span>
Rossco , the thing you posted didn't work, and i have firefox 1.0 ...
what i posted above should fix it. but no one's got around to trying it yet, i guess
there shoudl actually already be a class or id tag around that...Quote:

i think that's what IKE did, but he said it removed underlines from the entire board. which is why i said to make a new one
Ok, I've read through this thread and am more confused now
than before.
Thestrikethroughis rather distracting and annoying.
What is the "final solution", if there be one, for a user with
Firefox 1.0.
Thanks,
Larry
Well using Firefox 1.0 and Chromo skin the problem seems to be fixed right now :)Quote:

Ok, I just double-checked my User CP and have been using the Chromo Style all along.Quote:

Oh well, no biggee.
:)
In comparing different Browser's and their affect on thestrikethrough.
I just copied and pasted the FileSharing Talk Forum address into
my IE6 and opened it.....
Result: NO strikethrough.
So it is indeed a Firefox issue.
:)
Yup.Quote:

Ok, fine!
I'll stay with Default Style.
Larry :(
Synapse Style doesnt have a 'strikethrough' under the username.
oopsy! My bad!
I stand corrected.
no it's a skin issue. :PQuote:

In the skins that do not have the problem noticed your name (Larry) has a underline, on the bad skins that underline has been forced downwards and is overlapping with your member title.Quote:

It's been identified as a strikethrough from the beginning
of this thread. Thanks for the clarification.
Still, an interesting dilemma for those in charge of such things.

if so, the 'fix' i posted on page 2 would fix it...
what's it been now, 2 weeks?
