Come on England :01:
France vs Scotland
Oh Bum! :ermm:
To lose in the last two minutes was hard to bear. His foot was never in touch (is my unbiased view ) :whistling

Well it looks the competition is wide open this year.
Italy for the Grand Slam?
oh man...we lost to the Welsh...
we'll have 'em next time!
I see even the French team are saying they got away with a robbery. Some of the decisions by the officials were harsh in the extreme. To be fair to the French, they played it as the officials gave it without recourse to foul or unfair play; despite being behind for most of the game.Quote:

Italy aside :shifty: Ireland might just do it this year.
Just wanted to let you all know that the mighty JONAH LOMU is back training with the Allblacks after a long absence from the Rugby scene..This was due to him being on a Kidney dialysis machine...
Oh Boy, I feel sorry for England, hes gonna bend the team over and insert something into there anuses!!!!!
I enjoy watching them get raped by Jonah...
I think not - Jonah is a gentleman.Quote:

Tell that to the people he just runs over...lol
I think there opinion differs a little...
Ha! Thanks to the interweb, I'd previously discovered that New Zealanders like beating the English at rugby almost as much as the Welsh do, cheers for confirming it, Harsh :P
I am typing thro' the worst hangover I've ever had so I can't write a lot but I was there:

Gavin Henson was magnificent, absolutely world class.

Manker
A small glass or two followed then. :)
:( Alas we were gubbed by the officials. Still we gave them one hell of a fright. :ermm:
I did watch that game too, that touch judge wants his arse kicked and will probably be disciplined. They have been mandated not to raise their flags for unclear incident that close to the tryline as the video-ref can clear it up. I believe that if the try had been given, Scotland would have held on - the freak sequence of events which led to the French try wouldn't have occured, obviously :(Quote:

Hey Ho, the last 10 minutes were a mare. The try disallowed, the penalty against Paterson for holding the ball after his momentum carried him over the line (as if a quick throw for the French was a starter  ) and the sin binning of a player nowhere near the action. It was "Official" Armageddon. :(Quote:

What heroics from Wales! They really dug deep and the last 3 minutes must have aged every Welshman 10 years. Well done! Grand Slam looms.
On the other game
Sheesh, I thought Scotland were going to give me ulcers during the first half - thank goodness the Italian kicker left his boots at home and our guys got their act together in the second. What is it with refs disallowing Scottish trys though ? Another perfectly good score chalked off 25 : 10 would have been even more convincing.
Congratulations to Wales :01:
Cracking game - especially last 30 minutes. Manker probably needs a beer or two to relax :)

At one point in the second half I thought we were on for a remarkable comeback. Alas it was not to be. I have no idea what our crowd need to do. At times they look quite good and at other times are woeful. Patterson is an example. He missed an easy defensive tackle to let a try in and then ran through most of the England squad 80 metres to set up one at the other end.
Edit: It was a good game though.
I think that Scotland should take up Russian Roulette. The team that comes second always wins.
I wonder how long the world's longest hangover lasted.
When we beat England, I was still rough the following Wednesday. Definitely not up to writing a synopsis right now :D
