They seemed to like the word extreme a lot, not that they could pronunce it.
Looked funny tho', but I'd rather have seen a proper test, with cooling, to see how long it'd last. Bet it wouldn't be much longer tho'.
It almost looks like they faked it with a small charge or something.
Whyd they use a duron? and wtf..howd they get it that high with a heatsink and no working fan
Also...that heatsink isnt even clipped...wtf theres something wierd about this video
lol that is soooo fake :D
the heatsink wouldn't be attached so taht they could remove it faster...
tomshardware or someone did that once and there's wasn't hooked on either.
that doesn't mean that this video is fake though...on tomshardware the chip didn't explode like that...
There might be a slight possibility that they aren't faking it, I'm not sure how ceramic cracks under high temps, but it's possible that it explodes like that, and they seem to be setting the clockspeed from inside windows, so i guess they could have kept it very low, then just entered the speeds and pressed enter.Quote:

Like I said, it almost looks like they did it with a small charge of something, but I'm not sure.
They might have shot at it with something from above or below, that would explain the hole.
the hole looks like it was done with a drill bit

Also what proof is there that the computer was hooked upto the moniter, notice the mouse didnt move on the sceen, could have just been photoshopped and set as background image.
Theres just no way they can get such an oc on aircooling.
And if they did , im sure that guy wouldt have picked up the heatsink by bare hands
emptied
If they used something to set it from inside the os like I said, they could have oc'd it after they took the heatsink off.
Say they kept it really low, underclocked like, and then just set it right before it blew.
I don't think so tho'.
"Oh, look...fan failure!" (the fan was not even secured)
At the end of the video, take note that the CPU doesn't even look burnt. It looks like it has been shattered by an impact.
I don't even know what happened. Are these guys saying that the processor exploded due to heat build-up after removing the fan? If so, that's absurd. Things don't heat up to such a temperature that they explode in one second and don't even look burnt. The fan wasn't even spinning ffs.
The wallpaper on the pc says "explosives reviews". An explosive was surely used.
"...EGGSTREME...EGGSTREME...ET IZ TOO EGGSTREME...!!"
I thought it looked a little white. If the temps changed really quick it wouldn't produce as much soot maybe.
But nah.
i swear if i ever hear the word extreme again ill puke
also, did anyone happen to notice theres a hole in the table?
my opinion, the video is setup and fake.....its just too extreme :P
the table would have flaked or splintered

i think the hole in the table was used to shoot the cpu with something like a pellet gun or a small charge. It also seems the locking lever for the cpu wasnt engaged.
Other anomalies:
302.5x12.5 is not 3818.54
Core voltage 4.210v ???
Bus speed 705.0 MHz ???
Not even consistently faked.
was wondering how long it would take for someone to figure that out :lol:Quote:

is "302.5"x"12.5" actually 3,971.25?
No. It's 3781.25Quote:

u wouldnt have an extra amd motheboard by any chance....would u? :shifty: :shifty:Quote:

Ok..but wouldnt the heatsink have to be clipped to apply the right amount of pressure so the heat gets transfered?
i would have expected the mobo to jump across the room before penetrating nearly an inch of tableQuote:

Its a fake, and the guys were just having some fun, the CPU-Z stats obviously show that.
Just done in fun guys. ^_^
If this is fake how did they get the cpu to fly off?
probably a gun or some other exploding/impact thing. ;)Quote:
