EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!

For those of you have been living under a rock and still use any Kazaa application, there are now way better music,movies,applications,etc. File searching programs available. Kazaa is full of FAKE FILES-files that are not what they are listed as. Kazaa is bundled with spyware/adware/viruses and too many fake files to handle. Kazaa Lite or new/other is no different, you can still be downloading spyware/adware/viruses by downloading fake files.

Say you want to listen to that new song by 50 cent and you see it listed from the search results that came back, well, it might seem safe to download because it says that it is the new song by 50 cent, but MOST likely, it is not. Kazaa is filled with filthy and unhealthy crap for your computer. The RIAA and MPAA have basically poluted KAZAA/Kazaa lite/Other with corupted or fake files to an extent where your just downloading nothing.

Good question, here are a few programs that are spyware/adware free, unlimited searches, rarely any fakes or corrupted files, easy to use and some a little more advanced.

i use shareaza and kazaa lite, although i admit that shareaza is the better program i still use k-lite for things such as video as i tend to get better results, and certain songs which dont show up on shareaza, do on k-lite.

It's not 2.4 milion users ;) Thoes are just online at the moment, the userbase is about 30 times bigger ^_^

And the best file sources are your friends and universities and their networks (especially thoes at the dorms =) ).

K-Lite is best for looking for certian files and for sampling for new things and most certainly not the tracker's never down ;P

yeah i agree with that...I think kazaa is stilll the best for porn this simply because of the speed I can get it.

It get deleted just as quick :)

DO NOT USE KAZAA......BAD......VERY BAD

BITTORRENT.............GOOD.........VERY GOOD.

I guess the people who download porn off Kazaa deserve to get spyware/ad-aware, viruses, trojans, pop-ups (porn vids), and shitty files. KaZaa etc. is basically a dirty hand from an 8 year old playing in the dirt and Bittorrent is like a seed growing into a tree producing bright green leaves.

I stopped using K Lite abotu 6 months. I used it for about a year and love dit. Then those fake files started coming. I now use Ares and get good results for rock videos, xxx vid clips, and songs. But Limewire has a bigger number of files being shared, but I don't like its interface as much as Ares or K Lite.

Another problem with Kazza is/was the ridiculous number of differenet versions !!

Have never tired Bittorent etc as I am only on 56K dial up. Cos I can't afford Broadband as our telco in New Zealand is too bloody greedy.

It is actually a great project. With the fake checker and all. I haven't used kazaa for a year now but then I needed some songs from BoA and that is almoast impossible to find.

I have searched all the torrentsites that I can find! Anyway, the only place to find rare music and other stuff is KaZaA.

Kazaa lite is still going strong and will do so for some time yet

its up to 3.5 million users, who can't be sued all at the same time - one hell of a legal bill!

I cannot be f.ucked with Bitorrent its too complicated...most people aren't programmers

Slyck's got FastTrack at 2.9 mil as of the 14th. I wouldn't call 3.5 mil to 2.9 mil. deserting like rats. For all the criticism FastTrack gets in forums, 2.9 mil is still a lot more users than most of any of the other networks has ever had. As for myself, I use ABC, emuleplus and Ares(just installed a week ago) ahead of K-Lite but it can still be useful.

I had never seen the apps as the issue as I liked them when I used them as I just see the network as being crap with all its flaws so why spend all the time and development and hang on to things that still need that network which in the end it dosent matter what client you use or how great it is or what it does as your still supporting Sharman on some level which is company I dont see any reason to support on any level which you are doing if you share on there since it makes the network more attractive to those that get the KMD version with bloated pc fking crap. As for why I dont use it is just because Ive found better simply put...

I only use kazaa lite for songs. They go much faster than on emule.

i also use newsgroups (grabit) but only if i know that what i want is on the groups.

KaZaA goes down into the trashcan. K-Lite 2.7 Beta 4 is unstable and the fact that 98% of new songs are fake share makes it useless. Ok, there is Fake Analysis so you can find the 2% that still are real. But the work is too big for something that you can download fast and reliable with torrents.

It is easier to find whole quality albums with torrents. With KaZaA everything is shared in a big pile of shit.

But not everything is bad. Rare files that is hard to get is still found on KaZaA and therefore it can still be useful.

I wish that there would be a program that you could share everything on your hard drive to everyone like KaZaA, comment the files and of course folders with albums like torrents and have them searched and shared like DC++. The sharing should be untraceable and independent, but the users should still have the ability to chat with the uploaders and downloaders on the file/folder.

Someone please make my wish come true
