Maybe $300.
maybe 150
$150-$200
depends who you sell it to. for someone who doesn't know a lot maybe 250-300, but for someone who knows computers, expect 100-200.
In our shop we'd retail a PC like that for maybe $150-175.
Does it have a valid Windows COA?
You know what's sad? You can still buy many of those same parts and end up spending like 6 to 7 hundred bucks. Sucks, doesn't it?Quote:

Here's one of used systems : Click on used products

My point is for a few dollars more you can get a new system with monitor and warranty . The Slaco site is with O/S
At WalnutGrove.net they have a used desktop:
Intel P4-1.7GHz, 256mb, 40gb HDD, 52XCDROM, 16XCDRW, ATI Rage AGP Video, 10/100LAN,USB, Sound. For $339.99. With no monitor.
I'd say that my puter is much better than that, how much is $400 Canadian in U.S. dollars?
332.558 USDQuote:

We give a ninety day warrantee (no returns after 7 days) on the hardware and and no warrantee at all on the software, but all the used PCs have a valid Windows license.
Peat moss is correct, friends and strangers alike will expect YOU to take care of them forever.
Just yesterday I gave a used printer to a lady who returned a few hours later to bitch because the color cartridges ran out. I told her that I didn't see how she had any room to complain but if she'd like to actually PAY for a printer I'd be happy to sell her a fully working one.
She left.
Pissed off.
Sheesh.
What do you mean exactly when you say "second hand?" :unsure:Quote:

That almost amounts to a warranty. And, depending on the friend, you'd really be better off trying to sell it to someone you don't know and hope to never see again. I installed software on a friend's pc once and though what I installed was stable, ever after that, I received phone calls every time something went wrong with his 'puter, which was often. Offering help for life is a bad idea, they will be back with alot of issues, anytime anything goes wrong it will be you they phone not microsoft. You could end up spending more time than its worth trying to fix it.
I was originally going to say I wanted to sell it to someone I'll never see again in my life, but I didn't want to sound mean.
Screw it then, I won't sell this PC. I'll just buy a new one, and use this one whenever someone else is using my new one. Its still good for browsing the web, doing homework, and certain things.
Thats a very harsh but wise choice (About the selling to people you will never see again)
Yeah originally I wanted to sell it to someone I'll never see again, like at a garage sale, for about $400-$500. Thats just kind of mean, but thats life I suppose.
it doesn't pay to have too much conscience. I just gave a running car to the junk-yard myself, cause I didn't want to sell it to anyone I knew.
Damn that sucks. :( Y dident u atleast give it to charity or something? :blink:Quote:
