what drivers do i install to get my sound working again please help

have you tried putting some music on in winamp, or shooting something in Half-life, this usually makes my sound work

Check with this site if you have a Creative soundcard ;)

being an Advent computer it's most probably an onboard soundcard

instead of working out what soundcard you do have, just buy a new one, the model number on the box makes it easier to find drivers
