Hey don't knock it. many said that 200GB hard drives couldn't be filled when they first came out and we proved them wrong.
With escalating broadband speeds becoming the norm it will only be a matter of time before filling a load of HDD's to the sum of 3.2 TB will become the norm ;)

pc = personal computer, there's no way anyone would want that for personal use, so it doesn't count as a pc.
And as commercial systems go, it sucks. Just look at that mish-mash of internal HDD's: 2 SCSI drives of different sizes and speeds, 4 Hitachi drives, 2 Seagate drives. Maintenance nightmare.

Indeed.
The best "PC" I ever saw was on a site which went down late last year :(
The prices were in the same range as Alienware  but they had literally the latest and best of everything...
Unfortunately, I believe their prices led to their downfall. This monitor(s) alone was around $20,000.

They were good PC's, with excellent support I'm told but again, they charged unbelievable prices. Just shipping it from the US to the UK was around $1,000  (Better have been same day service or something for that price).
At the end of the day it'll always be cheaper building your own, and cut out the middle man.
