Any1 interested?

In setting up a bit of online gaming, I'm not really bothered about which game there could be several :unsure: I just think it would be cool to have a section of the board (mods permitting) where we meet up for a few games and organise some competitions and tournaments just for fun :)
I'm sure this would generate a bit of interest and bring more of our online gaming members together and definitely a lot of funny posts.
Anyway just a suggetstion for other things to keep the board going and it is'nt my new idea just read this http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=94955
and thought it was worth raising in this part of the board.
Btw I don't mind helping to get this off the ground if theres interest I've played clan/squad matches before but found it too time consuming this would just be for fun.

Not a bad idea, would be easy enough to incorporate as a subsection of Gameworld too.

Yeah maybe this should have been posted in game world but I thought it was an issue for the board :unsure: I don't mind loaning my 1 meg connection as a host for games and setting up matches, I just thought it would be good for the board giving a a bit of free advertising in the server for fst and a bit of fun for the members.

I don't mind what were playing lets get it on, I suppose if we hold a vote on which games ppl wanna play and go with whichevers popular, if we get a few members wanting a halo comp I'll go and buy it :cool:

Some counter strike source would be nice.. Who would host the servers tho?

I have a 1 meg connection that I don't mind using for gaming, even if I can't play I can leave it running. Plus as long as were using legit copies we can use other ppl's servers.
I suppose if some folks specs are'nt too high(mines only alrightish) we could play a less spec intensive game aswell so every1 can have a go.
PM me if you want to try and set something up, it would also bring members to the board we can advertise the site from in game so ppl who pop in can come to the board :unsure:
