Don't see the point of stars... they serve no useful purpose really.

But if we have to be lumbered with them, can we at least get some that match the forum skins a bit better please?

These stars are horrible. Also why has the criteria changed, it used to be 3000 posts for 4 and 5000 for 5 stars.

I don't mind having the stars, makes no difference and some folk seems to like them but aesthetically these ones are ugly. Can the other stars that Sam^4 made not be implemented?

I now remember these stars. They were made to fit in with an IPB forum theme back when 7th was running the place.
The stars looked fine in thier original setting, but on VB they're a bit of an eyesore.
No disrespect intended to Newcster, btw. They just don't fit this forum is all I'm saying.

Did anyone notice that the number of people coming here dropped at about the same time as we stopped having stars?

Obviously most people just come here for the stars. ;)

I'd rather have Sam4's stars though, no offence newc.
