I get this all the time 'cos of my name, so let's sort it out here. Which one is best? Anything you think is better, let us know. But only new stuff like, say, Pheonix Nights. No old stuff like Dad's army allowed!

Out of the 3 you mentioned.
Phoenix Nights is the mutt's nuts!
Partridge was better than The Office for easy laughs but The Office did have that uneasy edge to the humour that made it different to the rest.

I gotta say Alan Partridge tops the lot of them. The original show wa the funniest but it is consistently brilliant.
http://www.ananova.com/images/entert...p1_363x500.jpgLast month I was voted 'Man of the Moment' by TV Quick Magazine. In 1988 I was sports reporter of the year for Radio Norwich, and 10 years ago I was broadcasting highly complex traffic information to the whole of the East Anglia region.
Good call Skillian!
What about the league of gentleman.
It's shite.
Between Alan Partridge and the Office neither is better.
They are too different to be compared directly.
Both are brilliant.
I know the humour is a tad different (I didn't want to say lower :) ) but I think "Bottom" is bloody hilariouswith Ade Edmonson playing Edward Elizabeth Hitler!!
''EDDIE...YOU'VE KILLED HIM!!!''
''I NEVER TOUCHED HIM''
''YES BUT THE FRYING PAN DID AND YOU WERE TOUCHING THAT AT THE TIME''
''BOLLOCKS,YOU KILLED HIM,HE WAS DEAD BEFORE HE HIT THE GROUND''
''WELL WHY DID YOU KEEP HITTING HIM WITH THE FRYING PAN THEN?''
''......FOR FUN!!!''
(I'll get me coat ;))

Father Ted will always get my vote!
