The Pentium IV Processors were first offered with the RAMBUS Ram 400 MHz (not really faster than DDR 266 because the RAMBUS uses 16 bit paths where the DDR RAM uses 32 bit paths). I thought this was a big mistake, however motherboards are now being offered for the Pentium IV with the DDR RAM Memory slots
