eMule has probably singles. Also full albums packed in rar file.
Kazaa probably still works OK, I dont know for 100% sure,
but last time I used it I found the few singles really fast.
I needed them for "reference", hehe.
I think the main thing is to try different approaches whilst searching,
both different apps and different keywords.

Aires is a good prgram to try fast downloads to http://www.aresgalaxy.org/ares/
Bittorent of mirc is good for downloading albums.
